| It seems Stuart Pearce is beginning to feel the pressure. A manager transfer window that limits the amount of time managers can lose their jobs. |
At least this will send then back to Div 1! I've never heard such a poor excuse for bad management! If he was a good manager the club would keep him, regardless of a run of bad results or media speculation. But if they aren't cutting it they should get the sack! ummm but what about his like donkey thing!!! Calrolo his point is that managers do something good for a club yet the next season if they lose just 9 games they get the sack despite their previous achivements.
Its ludicrous that Pawdew should get the sack after just 9 games when you look at how well he did with them last season. I can see what he means, as some teams do hire and fire managers at a ridiculous rate - but normally they pay the price for this by not succeeding. However, most teams wouldn't get rid of a good manager simply because the team has lost a few games and the media thinks they're a bit rubbish. "West Ham chairman Terence Brown has backed beleaguered boss Alan Pardew and denied reports that he berated the team after Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat." With a good manager the board normally offers support Both manager Pearce and Pardew worked wonders for Man City and West Ham last season. Just because they have lost a few games on the bounce dosnt mean they should be sacked. If poor rune of form for both teams continue then maybe they should get the sack, but its to early at this moment in time for a manager to get the sack.
P.S I think West Hams run of bad form has came due to Dean Ashton getting injured. West Ham should just remember one thing, who got them to the final of the FA Cup, who got them a UEFA Cup position, who got them promoted? Pardew. i think west hams problems are ashton getting injured. also i think pearce is young and should be given a chance Stu Im sorry but I cant do that do a rubbish job at work then my boss goes to sack me I cant go sorry Guv you can't fire me were not in the sacking season. If you do a rubbish job you expect to get the sack i agree with liam, i do think there should be more transfer windows.
i think pearce is a good manager, and how can anyone blame alen pardew for there problems he got them to the prem and then after that f.a cup final on ther first season! I've been a city fan for a long time and sometimes it shows, my point being we don't need transfer windows to save us, they never have before! However maybe you should be giving managers more time to do the job, change doesn't happen over night. Not only will it protect managers doing crap it may also protect clubs whos managers are doing really well. think Ian Dowie may agree with the idea.....sacked after just 12 games in charge!! i agree rickymale if your crap u will get the sacked it's not the chairman fault they have to get rid of them or they could lose millions of pounds its a good idea, but wiv so many CRAP managers around, who can they replace them with. And what about contracts.. what hapens if the contract end bufor the window opens Players Can transfer anytime if there not contracted to anybody. hi im new to this will people give is a hand plz mail me if yes
kim he was never the cleverst sloath at the zoO. id happily have psycho back in charge at the city ground
