He can't leave anyway until June, I doubt his comments are true. In my view he should take control of his own contract and keep it with a club instead of an organisation.

But if a 'small' team signed him (steady now Rafa Beneathus), say Fulham or Bolton (or Everton I guess), how likely would FIFA have been to allow him to play? Not particularly in my opinion.
