 | The Woking Gunners announced on Thursday 19th June, that both Auriville Goguen and Noel Byrne have been put up for transfer.
The news follows the lift of the 21-day transfer restriction imposed on new manager, Ade Bishop, as part of his contract conditions when joining the club. "I can confirm that after careful consideration, I have now officially put two Gunners up for potential resale", the Gunners boss declared.
Central midfielder, Noel Byrne, whose contract runs out in 99 days, has recently seen an upsurge in market value, following some influential playing in recent reserve games. Bryne's current value is estimated at 531,000 - an increase of 10,000 this time one week ago - but is bidding at 500,000.
French striker, Auriville Goguen, has also seen an increase in market value recently who is currently valued at 775,000. The 24 year old said today, "It is disappointing to see my time here at Working coming to an end, but it is time for both myself and the squad to move on".
"I would like to try my time with a club further up the league, maybe championship or premiership, and settle into an establish outfit. That would be good for me", he added.
Woking is hoping that both players potential and increased statistics during training will be an attractive factor to potential buyers. "Both players have recently picked up increases in their stats which is good to see", Ade commented.
He was also quick to add, "we need to see more than just improvement during training, for now this it not enough to fit within Woking's long term plans".
"I wish both players all the best for the future and I'm sure they will do well in a camp that can not only make the best use of their skills, but can provide them with the type of support they are looking for". |
