Minuets of the meeting 17 Jul 07

PC Danny Doogle (Local Bobby)

1. Time for change:

Benci Lackó advised the committee that it is time for a change this season. He thanked everyone for their hard work but harder times are in store for the club this season. Reaching a dizzy height of POS 2 in the league means that the club is moving from Div 7 to Div 6. As a reward for this promotion the chairman has put £3.00 into the snack machine for the committee to share after the meeting (Glen is excused from this treat as he is on a diet because he is using too much fuel on the ride on mower).

2. Catering:

Maggie Miller has been approached by the local fish & chip shop (Fishy Fries) offering her an executive position. She would like to propose to the committee that after 20 years of devoted service she would be leaving the club if a she did not get a pay rise (cost of inflation and all). The committee thanked her for her time and sent her on her way… The committee would advertise for another catering manager this week.

Break for tea and biscuits (Maggie’s gone now woops…)

3. Crowd Trouble:

PC Doogle reported that during last season the crowd has doubled and he is a bit worried about noise prolusion. During the last game of the season he had three reports from the local residence of this outrageous emitting sound. PC Doogle has advertised in the local newsletter for people to all villagers to ensure them that this would not happen again. A strip search will now be initiated on the gate at the first game of the season and any contraband (whistles, drums, and bagpipes) will be quarantined.

4. The Future:

BigBrother reported that the future is bright… and crossed everything for this season’s cash bonus to establish our great club and making a mark in Atlas Div 6. He advised the committee he is looking forward to the challenge and will give 100% in ensuring the success of the Team & the Club…
