 | At the beginning of this Season (29) I took on a dire Team in Thunder - Division 8.
I have decided to set myself a challenge with this team by having a whole squad of French Players by the end of Season 31.
I won't be expecting much success on the pitch while I'm doing this as I won't be looking for Star players at this stage, just Average ones. A few through the Transfer Market and Youth Academy. The latter of course won't produce anyone great as I will be searching for 16/17 year olds as the quest at the moment is just getting a dozen or so players as soon as possible.
A few of us with 2nd Teams have also joined in. England, Brazil, France, Greece, so far, with the possibility of Wales, Italy and Holland.
This is an Ideal challenge for those of you with 2nd Teams or even 1st Teams and want to try something different and having a bit of fun at the same time.

18th.April.
So far, I have purchased 5 French players. Not fantastic but they will do for a while.
One thing I have discovered is you don't need good players to go up the Divisions. The quality I'm getting will hopefully get me up to Div.1, that's if I keep this going that long.
25th. April
To date, 7 Managers have joined in. We now have - England, Brazil, France, Greece, Sweden, Scotland, Germany.
With other Managers showing interest we could have 10+ Teams by the of this season. At this rate we could have a 'World Cup' Competition in a couple of seasons.
1st.May
We now have 10 Managers starting a National Team.
Those above plus - Spain, Mexico & Finland.
12th.May
Slovakia, Wales & Ireland have joined us, making 13. Another 6 Managers have Reserved Countries for the new Season.
10th. June
There are now 22 Teams taking part, Amazing ! Take a look at the site and see who has taken on which Country and watch the progress.

Sounds fun, may give it a try with my 2nd next season... shotgun South Korea! I may give it a try aswell.I may subscribe to IAG so then i can have a 2nd accont and i may try to do a squad full of English players.Ill make it a little harder aswell by trying to get promotion.Plus i may do Italy since no one else is doing it i think. Ive just looked in your squad and you dont have any french players yet.This will be really hard for you. I think ill send my scout to scout french players then sell them to you.:) I just cant stop checing your squad to see if youve signed any new french players or not. Updated today. A world cup!This gets better and better.My heart says subscribe, but my wallet says dont subscribe.If i did take part i would be netherlands or maybe we can have a race to see who has all of there squad one nationality. I think ill subscribe in 2 days, because i really want to take part in the World cup, but i also want to lead Borussia Teeth to glory.
It's best to do this with a 2nd Team as success in a League would be difficult, keeping your 1st Team as your main one.
It will probably take a couple of seasons before we do a World Cup as ideally every team could field a national.

I like this idea so much that i might do it on Fifa 08 manager mode, but i will get good players which would be hard. My dad said he will let me subscribe.I just need his credit card and my hunt for Italian players start.Ill proberbly use a 30 rated team since they will have good scouts...hopefully. Im going to have to subscribe tommorow since my dad dosent have his card with him.A busy day tommorow.Cricket trials, subscribing to IAG doing my homework, clearing my school bag out and reading my book or otherwise i will get a detention if i dont read. Will there be freindlies or will there just be a world cup? can i join in with this with Irish players please as i have a good Irish connection. Can i ask question?Are you trying to avoid promotion, so then you have more money? 4 more french players and you can make your starting 11 have all of the players french. You forgot me and the Polish on that list :p Its going to be a fantastic challenge :) We are proberbly going to have to wait 111 days until we have anv all Italian team.:(. thinkn its going to take a while for everyone Super. its not about filling it all up, but gaining great talent so one of us can win the cup :P
I have a big plan for my Italian squad.We might not win it the first time we take part, but maybe at a fifth time we try we can win it.
