Well we're nicely through the first part of the season and things are starting to really shape up in this league. This anticipated fixture has finally been played out, at New Highbury. With the home crowds slowly starting to beileve that Arsenal Ladz can really hit the heights this season, after a largely disappointing last season which saw them finish in 6th place ater losing a manager.
The new manager has raised confidence throughout the whole club. From the bottom up. By trimming the squad down to get the wage bill down and revamping the training and youth set up at the club. He as also brought in new staff to compliment his team and has consolidated the club quite nicely so far. With an impressive start to his reign which has seen him pick up 17 wins out of 24 games. Losing just 5 and drawing 2.
But what the fans really wanted to know was whether the team could really lift themselves and get any wins out of the teams above them. A disappointing away loss at the hands of league leaders Monkey Madness, 4th placed Riverdale, and shock loss to Whaka Fc have been lows this season so far.
But boasting 1 loss in the last 8 gamess, a 5 match unbeaten run which has seen them conceed just 2 goals, including this great morale-boosing 1-0 win over 3rd placed Awesome, has really got the jucices flowing for what should shape up to be a good season for Arsenal Ladz Fc.

Can they win promotion or the title ?

I would say winning the title is going to be quite a difficult task as leaders Monkey Madness have an 11 point lead over us at the moment, and unless they have a major problem i cant see that changing. 2nd and 3rd place are definately up for grabs, promotion is definatley a real possibility unless the wheels really come off !!
