Well after a holiday without internet access and little consideration for planning ahead I've come back to a few messages including - "player has left the club". Whoops. Only one of them is a problem though, thank fully. My best defender I hadn't managed to arrange a suitable contract with before I left and so he did while I was away. The others aren't too much of a loss and will save me some money now. Only a few more tens of thousands per week to save now and I might start to make some money.

On the plus side, my ass manager is doing a good job of picking my team as I've gone from 5th to 3rd over the last few weeks. In the running for promotion, only two points behind second and 4th is a few points behind me. A happy situation. Will hopefully secure promotion this season and get a few more pennies from that to break even, then more fans next season.

What could go wrong with that plan? ;)
